| The Event Promotion Department recreates
the world of popular characters like Doraemon, Hamtaro and Pokémon by planning,
creating and organizing various different types of character events like Live
Costume Shows, where children can enjoy watching their favorite characters appear
right before their eyes. The Event Promotion Department also handles the creation
and planning of sales promotions and book reader service fairs as well as magazines
published by Shogakukan for children and adults alike.
